Go to canadian tire and buy some outdoor screen door material and hot glue gun it on the back of your hood, brother did this to his zx and it looked good.

Ya he road his all last season with out a problem with snow and he had every vent done on that light weight hood, the key is just to make sure the glue is really hot so it will go through the small holes and bond to the hood. A bit time consuming, but its cheap looks good and works.

silicone works even better, it stays flexible and takes more of an impact, like harder drifts, or a branch.
I used satelite dish aluminum mesh on my ZX.

Airbrush. I bought the lightweight hood, airbrush, paint and supplies. My nephew did the artwork. I let him keep the airbrush, and I have the hood hanging in my garage now.

I used that black RTV silicone. It is oil and acid resistant.

HAHA fat chance in prying that hood from my hands... LOL:d

Getting the mesh was easy. I just saw a big black old dish at a farm. Their everywhere, and asked them if I could take it off their hands. I stripped the paint off and viola!!

Use automotive GOOP from Canadian Tire. This stuff is awesome, also works great for insulating electrical wires, fixing vinyl seats etc.
