So I was filling up a ground heater today the funnel on the can broke and covered my pants and hoody in diesel. And they were brand new pants how does my wife get it out?

If the clothes are of any value take to a dry cleaner that deals with oilfield coveralls if not toss them. Don't put them in your home washing machine...

Spray down in spray nine then get an old pail and soak in detergent warm water. Repeat couple times then throw in washer. I have had my coveralls covered in everything the oil patch has thrown out from spent skunk smelling cansweet and burnnt triethelyne and had good success. Obviously they are not your going to the christmas party clothes if your at work with them

If you have a laundry tub fill it up with hot water and a good dump of sunlight dish detergent and stir it up a bit then let it soak. Dump the water when it cools off and repeat. Then take it to a laundromat and wash with a little more sunlight and regular laundry detergent and you might have a leg up on getting the stank out. Works on my coveralls.
