There is a new latch and stud.

Have mine ordered under warranty allready.

My left side won't stay in as well. Could be wrong but I'm sure I read somewhere that you can adjust the middle plastic piece around the gas cap and that's also a fix.. Any more info on that?

Yeah the left side on mine wouldn't stay shut. Spun the white washer and its pretty tight but stays shut. Left the right side alone as it stays shut the way it was.

i bought the washer from a 2013 summit that is black and now it works perfect.

Ya I cut my knee and pants on the corner where it wasn't latched.

I put the little grommets from a 2013 in my 14 xm. On my freeride I turned the little grommets upside down and they are super tight. No more opening panels.

anyone else seem like they have a good vibrating through there feet (2014 800 sp 146) tighted my track belts fine but still a descent vibration

Check the underside of your rave valve cover right above the y-pipe. All 3 of the XM's in our group have melted a hole in them allowing belt dust etc to gum up the raves. It's easy to get to if you just take off your clutch guard. Dealer says it could be caused by not enough cool air getting in the engine compartment if you have the pre-filter screen in the nose. I put some foil heat tape on the cover. We'll see if it holds up.

That's one of the first things I did, was heat taped the rave cover

13's had the same thing, didn't figure it was any different to a 14
