I guess we will need a new Matryx 900 section tomorrow?

Looks like the Doo's increase to 180 hp is coming out of the gate in second place next year with the game changer second axle....... that should fire up the trools......

well, 7% more hp. No confirmed HP numbers from Polaris...again.... It would have to be a 200Hp NA to keep up with the 180hp tdoo. By my math this new engine will be 175hp at sea level or 136.4Hp at 8000ft....FAR cry from 180

There wont be any 900R engines touching the new skidoo 850R turbo, but its a cool engine, im sure theres a market for it. They will sell one for sure to TETHAIR

So i am hearing the crank is the same one as in the 650 matryx .. good thing or not ?
From what i can gather, as soon as they went to the lightweight crank setup the primary clutches started giving headaches. Pick your poison.

I think Burandt has been using that crank for a few years now in his lightweight builds.... not sure how many miles he puts on his built sleds before he sells em

I personally think if they have this 900r crank balanced & dialed it will become a favourite of the masses. I see na 850 Polaris doing amazing on the hills let alone tree and technical riding and they say the 900 is more responsive due to light crank plus 12% torque coupled with light weight it’s gonna be an exciting sled. Not everyone wants or needs a turbo but having one of each would be luxury. Pick yur poison

Sure didn't do themselves any favors in the color department if you want a 9R or boost or anything really, man who comes up with these color schemes

Am I missing something or did they try a 900 twice? As far as I know they only tried a 900 once in 05-06
