Regardless of numbers there’s no doubt like you say seat of the pants both brands it’s a lot more fun on the turbo. The performance difference is very noticeable to an NA model as the turbo models get up on top of the snow and make more ground speed rather than struggling through.

All I’m wondering is why the sled that makes 15 more HP makes the same track speed as the doo.

What is track speed difference between a doo NA and turbo ?

I dunno, the guy that was with us last weekend sure did appreciate the extra power of a turbo when his NA 165 got passed by mine 3/4 of the way up the hill, and I gave him a head start in 2ft of fresh.
A turbo has way more smiles to the gallon, doesn’t matter the brand.

I would not get hung up on numbers Randy, Trackspeed is so subjective, My sled last weekend was getting 44-45mph at a full chew turnout in over two ft of fresh.
Did the two Polaris sled have the same track and pitch, was one clutched and the other not? Was it out of break in?

Regardless, the turbo makes more power and trackspeed, 7mph is a decent gain in fresh snow.
I bought the Boost for more than theturbo.
The Matryx chassis is stiffer than the doo and more responsive to input.
Shocks, Guage, belt drive and weight loss plus they just feel smaller and more nimble than a do.
I had a Doo 175 all last year, nothing wrong with it I just wanted a Poo before I retire from the mountains.
This is it.
Doubt I will have regrets over numbers, the fun factor seem to be out there.

Well we were in Gorman today with my 15 Aerocharged XM, a mtntek pro, and a 155 Boost.
Met a couple other guys one on a 165 NA Axyis and a 165 Skidoo turbo.
Found a big Hill and played. Switched Riders in multiple combinations etc.

In every scenario that Polaris boost is an absolute Rocket ship. Regardless of snow or whatever, in every run we did it was clear the Boost was the Top dog. Very nice unit.

Yes Catman10 has that 175 T Doo dialed in!
Stock motor, stock exhaust, no tune. Just clutch and suspension work.

1000km on buddies boost and getting intermittent low fuel pressure when below 1/2 a tank. He has friends with the same sled and same problem. Other than that, the thing has been flawless.

Coincidentally, pretty sure the fuel pump is on its way out on my doo too.
