Let’s be clear about this..
track speed means nothing!!!
Snow set up comes in a 100 different ways
With also adding in factors of
Ambient temp out side
Amosphic density at diff elevations
Different rider weights
These track speed numbers mean nothing.

U can have a higher track speed in a certain snow and also b going 5-10km slower
So who cares about track speed
It’s a joke!!!
Track speed and ground speed are very different. But track speed is a very good indicator of how efficient your clutching is. Ground speed will come with traction..... using a skidoo track... lol. Polaris tracks are horrible.

But its not the same power at where I ride? A N/A aspirated sled loses HP at altitude and a turbo doesn't. I'm not knocking what you want to ride Chris. I know you're a tree rider. My knees dictate I'm not so I choose the best sled for me and my riding which is not tree riding. You might like the Boost better in the trees if it didn't have the small lag it does. Muskoka Matt rides turbo's and we know he isn't giving them up. Either is Burandt or Curtis I'm betting and they ride all tree stuff.
matt is thinking of a 900 r pro ken for next year

180hp at elevation with the turbo skidoo you don't really have anyone denying it has the best power to weight ratio so may aswell talk about the other great features that were added that weren't advertised as much
With Polaris we can have a N/A with 181 HP while your N/A is 165 or we can have a Turbo at 188 HP while you get 180. Easy win for the Polaris no matter what we do. I can even buy a Polaris 850 and still get the 171HP and save about $3000. Nice to have choices.

From what i can gather, as soon as they went to the lightweight crank setup the primary clutches started giving headaches. Pick your poison.
Much beefier P22 now. But you are correct about the P-85 with th elight weight crank.

Yes I see that now. That’s fine. It’s his choice to try one. He still has the new 23 Doo Turbo for the days he needs it so he is covering his bases there.
must be nice he went for an expert turbo r 154 i think
