Just a quick question......what is everyone seeing for track speed on their turbo Nytros and how much boost are you running when you're seeing these numbers??

I'm having some issues with my Nytro and have been told that I shouldn't see more than 130km/h at 18lbs........I think this is a little off:confused:

From what I have seen that seems pretty close. I see about 120km/h at 15 pounds so 130 at 18 would seem right.

I usually just glance at the tach and boost gauges as it can be a challenge to be watching gauges. The speedo is in triple digits (km) within a couple of seconds and it climbs quickly. I remember being concerned and checking trackspeed on a turbo Vector in '05, at 12psi it would show track speed of about 120km climbing in a couple of feet of snow. I'm thinking at 17psi track speed with a 162 is probably closer to 140km+, would expect it to be lower with a bigger track. Anybody check trackspeed with a 174 ?

My old T-Apex would be getting close to 170km/h going across a lake.....not sure on climbing. Where I'm having problems is that on a groomed trail and on a lake I'm only seeing 120km/h. That can't be right when I'm pushing close to 300hp.

i have a 2010 front mount alpine running 17psi over the holidays in Revy and only saw 100kmph for the little I looked at the gauges. It felt fast so my speedo could be out. I'm runnin a 162 -2.5" camo with avids, boost it fuel system, 47 helix, alpines spring set up which is the purple cat secondary and the blue brown(maybe pink) blue primary, with daltons weights at 72.6grams. The secondary i have set at 3(helix) and 2. Not sure what is in the chain case for gearing, I assume it would be geared alpines set up.

last weekend in valemount, i made sure to check it.. i had 18/19lbs of boost, 8800rpm and 143-147kmh.. would jump around so not exact numbers. and there was about 2ft of fresh.

p.s. that is a 162 track, different gearing too. so thoes numbers i cant see being exact. something has to be off.. different drivers as well

well SLY can vouch for me on this one but it depends alot on what kind of track your running. I run the Apex 17lbs on a mcx 19t and I see about 145 to 150 all the time. My track is completely destroyed though. I'm missing LOTS of lugs!

We can soon fix that Mike, lol ;) But then you would get in all kinds of trouble. I have a rear arm for you too
