This is my 08 Yamaha SuperJet, they are not available in Canada and it took alot of sourcing to get one from the nothern states. This is by far one of the best motor sports I have gotten into, and alot more challenging then those other sitdowns (couches), you have to learn how to get up and turn and ride, just like wakeboarding, it actually requires skill and is very challenging!! There is so much you can do with them, got tones of tricks in the bag so far, and trying to get the barrel roll down then after that the backflip (only getting half and some change haha)
The second pic, although its not all that clear, is what happens when you get two wakeboard boats to drive just below plaining and about 20 feet apart. it creats a "V' wake a.k.a a huge jump where the wakes meet.
in this pic you can see that I am already on my way down and quite away back from the jump part, and its easy to get 15+ feet of air.
these stand ups are back on the rise, and theres a reason for it, everyone that rides mine wants one before the weekend is over, I have convinced 4 friends to buy em too.

If anyone want to learn more about these drop me a line, I am more then willing to give this sport a plug!! A stock set up is bullet proof and will alst you a long time with just the basic mantainance, they are super simple to work on and there are also tonnes of things that can be done to customize them if thats what your into. But what ever ya do if your not racing don't get the Kawasaki SXR, the Yamaha is much better for the average rider!!

Do you guys kinda hop off the boat when ur wakeboarding, or do u let the boat pull u out of the water, and try to gain balance?

I tried getting pulled out of the water on to the board, like water ski-ing and couldnt get it worth a darn.

Any tips for a newb?

I let the pressure of the boat trolling forward to hold the board to my feet get it adjusted right then let her rip, and to get up some good hints are to keep your knees as close as you can get the to your chest and then stand up like your getting out of a chair and then turn the board so it runs paralelle with the boat, another way of doing it is to have the board lay flat on top of the water and put just your heels on the board, when the boat starts moving it will flip up under your feet and then its the same from there. the only thing to watch is that your heels are placed where you want you foot to end up.
I would not recomend starting from the boat at all

I just learned to wakeboard this year, I couldn't get out of the water to save my life using the knees up to the chest sitting back method.
I have no trouble getting up with my body already in the wakeboard stance with just the front tip of the board out of the water.

Here is my new Regal 2400 with 8.1 375 hp volvo. Picked it up at the end of may. Put just over 50hrs on it this summer. Its got a nice little bbq that mounts on the swim platform for some snacks out on the lake, a sink, and even a little bathroom with toilet ( the toilet is just for show though. No one is allowed to use it because I don't want to clean it)

first is the house boat on the shushwaps we rented, as we drove through golden and revy i was wishing it was winter and had my sled.

Next is a 19.5 foot raider invader with a 200hp outboard. It use to be 230hp port and polished with high comp heads, but the top two pistons stuck and the rods went threw the block at 69 mph across the lake. On gps two guys 1/2 tank fuel 71mph. Now its a stock 200 that does 65mph but can burn regular instead of premium. Also has 6 1" holes drilled in the gear case and it is soooooo loud and sounds amazing, nothing like straight pipe two stroke, 12 in offset hydraulic transom jack, land and sea gas pedal, hydraulic steering, 3/4" aluminum transom plate, low water pickups/ speedo, and aluminum haul fins.

Hope this works....she aint pretty but it got me onto the water for about 20 days this past summer, and she'll do 30mph and I named her "Mud-Duck". this is to tide me over and get me on the water until I can get the boat i really want... a tanzer 26, I told the wife when the lake lot sells I don't want more land I want a floating cabin.

This is our baby sitting at MMS It now spends all of it's time at Lac. Ste. Anne. It's always a tough choice between summer and winter...but I like the choices.

She got her name from the color and an inside joke

What model of Moomba do you have??

2006 Moomba Outback 21ft 325hp, but its direct drive:(, its a great boat just wish I would have spent a few bucks more on V drive, it has 500lb factory ballast and we load it with 2 more 450lb bags, I can surf no problem but my buddies who are mostly a bit bigger than me dont have as much succes,
if I had my pic I guess a Mastercraft hard to beat but reality would be a wakesetter,
