So here's a question, why are the Doo clowns so set on comparing the 9R to the turbo 850R? The N/A 850 is the competition for the 9R, or did the 9R just make N/A stand for "no longer applicable"?

I just hope BRP left the wobble clutch on the shelf, put loctite on the rear axle bolts, and has a hundred or so shortblocks ready for dealers to replace on warranty.
Probably because there priced comparable. No different then dirt bikes though. Different weapon for the job. If your out duning take the 450. Out riding trails take the 300 t stroke

I built a 9R for fun when I was ordering a boost and it came to that same price with the basic gauge, however the 9R is only $900 cheaper than a boost when you put the 7S gauge on. The boost automatically comes with the 7S gauge. The boost in all black, no e start , basic shocks comes to 23,300, 9R with everything the same and the 7S gauge is 22,400

That on the site? My 9r was basically $25k out the door with the bad shocks.

Cats going to surprise everyone like they did in ‘93 and come out with a 900 or 1000 triple. They will probably use the same style promo vid and have the same colour scheme.

The Gen5 will be in a league of its own next season, cant really compare the prices.

You guys always have been “a league of your own”. 😂

Yes but still gotta add tax, pdi etc , mostly was just showing difference between 9R and boost, I don’t care what it is compared to the French turbo

I’m $28k OTD for a Khaos Boost. 155 with the 2.75’’ track, black with black tunnel, lime green rails, skid plate, upgraded front bumper.

The dealer fee was $1500 which I thought was high. This included freight, PDI, etc. I Was expecting closer to $1000 but wasn’t going to walk over $500. They justified it as they got a lower snowcheck allotment number from Polaris. I guess I can kinda see that…. But they are also making money with sleds at full MSRP

My friend snowchecked a Ski Doo 165 Expert Turbo R. Loaded up including the fancy screen and he was $26,000 out the door. $1500 less without the screen.

The Polaris is definitely more expensive but I do have the upgraded shocks on mine and my dealer fees were ~$500 more.

This sure makes last years snowcheck prices look like a ‘deal’. Imagine it will be the same again next year.

I was 25500 otd for my 23 expert 154 turbo, small gauge in sask with both taxes and fees added. I didnt have the option for good shocks skidoo only comes with bad shocks lol
Yup, they are all way up there. Most are just happy to have their name beside one.

I can tell you I had buyers remorse and and a wtf did I just do moment when I put my deposit down. Since then I’ve actually gotten quite excited for this sled. Can’t wait for next winter and to ride this thing a entire season! It will definitely help me progress as a rider

i wouldnt say one has anything over the other. Similar products but configured differently depending on your riding style. The lynx is built for more "extreme riders" if you will....

1. The lynx is heavier but beefier, beefier rails etc..
2. The lynx has 15" wide track and 36" stance vs 16 and 34
3. lynx has a completely different rear suspension designed for much bigger hits the front suspension also offers slightly different geometry
4. The lynx has better suspension options that arent even available in the freeride

all in all, similar chassis, different plastics, same engine and calibration packages. Just different options for the hardcore guys. Lynx is a little more spendy.

Tim will be doing my shocks again, even tho the expert is sprung and valved different than the x.

Yeah well the lynx RE has 46mm shocks.


He cant make your shocks bigger.

Plus it has a better skid.



The lynx has the best suspension offered on a factory sled imo
