Well oilers won which was great. We are in Loge and the waitress was great, brought me OJ after I tried to add thickner to the beer it seemed to just make strange sticky foam. Ended up just drinking thickned OJ all night. Ate all my chicken tenders and poutine fries, no issues. Nice to get out and enjoy. Still numb to entire right side and from left knee down. Got my Staples pulled the other day so dont get any weird looks from people at the grocery store.

I was really thinking that the Oilers only won whilst you were in medical care. Glad to see they've turned it around while you are out too.

Hopefully your numbness continues to go away, you should have gotten a wig to cover the staples to avoid the weird looks!

Beer and OJ?

Beer and OJ is actually not bad. There is lots of slightly orange flavoured beers at the liquor stores

Basically this is what was done, but a brain bleed at the brain stem. When I went in they said 50/50 chance of survival. And major recovery up to 8 months in hospital. I think so far I’m beating the odds.

Mine was a bleed right on the brain stem. Not a good place at all with a lot of possible negative outcome.
