Here is a youtube vid i found comparing the stocker to an HPS
HPS sounds awesome IMO

99% sure we have a winner here for mine

I like the sound of that can.. Not a real loud bark, just enough to spice it up a bit.. Good choice.. I might have to go w/ the same one..

Side note - i can't wait for my Etec to come in.. If i fired up my 08 880 in the garage and revved it up like that the smoke would be billowing out...

Ya MBrp works good too. Haven't tried one on the Etec yet. Maybe you Should try that one this year so your sled doesn't run like a pile of chit?

Sorry about the pics. haha first time uploading. The beauty thing about this can guys is that we can acces the cooker from the side, which is handy considering the hood on the xm doesnt just pop off. They cook quick, 10 mins for hotdogs ;)

an mbpr can and cooker separate will cost more that the Thing can and cooker ....haveing the cooker on the side is a huge plus too.

a way to tell weather the can is makeing any changes .haveing built many different shapes and sizes over the years , and haveing tested what else has been built . i derived a very simple way to measure weather one had made a difference in the main pipes performance , by makeing changes .
simple put , if you attach a pressure nipple to the main pipe and you measure what pressure the stock system achieves , you can now compare this to what ever you attach to the end of the pipe.key being to achieve full rpm and load .
as the exhaust system is an air chamber , measureing pressure is an easier task than ,measureing mass flow for those with out dyno's.
haveing said this , if what ever you build matches stock numbers then it works well .
if the builder can say they have built to match the stock flow then your can is likely to work well .
this is important on the efi sleds more so than ever as the fuelling is matched to the throttle position sensor,s positon .as well as the pipe temp sensors that they all look at as well .

I do not wish to offend you, but a spell and grammar check would add a lot of credibility to your product, especially when you are trying to explain your scientific methods of ensuring your product quality...

just sayin' !
