the 146 camo extream 2.86 16 wide 2.5

Nice! We got a 163 2.5(me:d) and a 154 2.5 in my group and both are the stepped in 15" paddle 16" belt model. Both are worth it, IMO I'd like to see a 146" 2.5 I think it should be a good step up! Make sure you give us the review.
Kind of wish I would have tried the 3 pitch 16" I didn't know it would work when I ordered mine :( every little bit helps.

I've been running the 146" 2.5" 2.86 pitch for two seasons now, huge gain over the stock track despite maxwell's criticism of the inset lugs. solid 8-10 sled length difference climbing in deep powder over the ported powdermax. same sleds, same clutching....

haven't rode with any XP 163's JT, but the 146 is a blast compared to anything longer. the difference between mine and the '09 154 I rented in in vale was huge, they don't wheelie anything like mine while climbing. you don't have to change your stance much at all and the skis would come off the snow 6-8 inches and it just kept tractoring up the hill. mine you gotta hump the riser to keep it down when it gets to the nitty gritty....with the powdermax it was digging in before that point.

all i can say is the new track rocks I could Boondock and climb where the 146 would have had some trouble before. I would compare it to when i rode my old 583 136 and got my xp how it pulled wow:d The boondocking was super great

maybe also because he only has the 2.5 in stock, been waiting three months on the 3inch, backordered for months

Thank you for all the replies. I talked with Curtis with tracks canada, he is very good to deal with!:d He explained how the 2.86 pitch track is the one I want as its designed for the sled. The paddles are narrower on it but only by .5 inch if not less. The reason for this is they taper in so they do not snag/rub against the rivets in the tunnel which is a known problem on the xp. As well the 3 pitch track has a vibrate to it which apparently is designed that way. Even with the 7 tooth drivers it still has it.
Got my track ordered and bought! Super pumped to get it and start the install process!:d:d

No he had both tracks in stock. But we are talking about the pitch not lug size. They do not make the 3" lug in a 154.
Didnt manage to have time last weekend to install:mad:! But track is going on tomorrow! Super pumped! Will get some pics to post on monday:d:beer::d

Alright, this is THE BEST UPGRADE FOR THSES SLEDS!!!!!:headbanger::headbanger::headbanger:
I recommend this upgrade to EVERYONE!
Took approx 3hrs, no puller. If you dont have someone to assist then you would DEFINATELY need the puller!
Heres the pics, old track (with nice large porting lol), new track, sled apart, and on the snow at the VERY top of the mountains!:d:beer::d:beer:
