Just got back from valemount and blue river and seen more slides in this trip than any other trip in 12 yrs.Even helped dig out one very lucky fellow. The fresh snow that came a week ago is very wet and heavy. One slide settled on a lake and broke the ice all the way around.More fresh snow fell on past sunday and temps are in the plus.USE CARE when out and remember the fresh snow will slide off the old stuff at any time of day and anywhere. We were seing snow move at 6pm.Allot of good times yet to be had, just be aware and ride safe.;)

We rode Gorman on Sunday and there was plenty of big ones, all had come down a few days before though.

We were in Blue River last weekend...same thing...lots of movement 2-4pm on the south facing slopes...a gent was buried in Holly Grail but dug out by his buds, also very lucky...make good choices folks !!!

We saw two when we where in groundhog. One smallish and the second had a depth of about 1M? Moved slow but could have done damage to a person.
