Well Iceage Elevate kit, Stryker uppers and zbroz high clearance lowers on order. Zbroz said their lowers are very similar to stock geo. Hopefully that means the same. Lol.

Haven’t completely decided on the belt drive yet.

Never had any issues with my EarthX, going on 5 season now and still going strong. Coldest start was about -30 after sitting on the sled deck over night.

I have been using Antigravity in mine. The current battery came out of my Nytro in 2017 and its still going. Never had a problem with starting.
My first Antigravity went 6 seasons in the Nytro, same model battery and I installed it in my BMW motorcycle. The Beamer killed it LOL. So bought another just for the sled, the one I have now.
I think I'm going to replace mine this season as a preventive. Another Antigravity. AD5D6BED-6EC5-4E8A-9F04-E8185284F769.png

So decided to go cfr way. I installed 4” risers and boondocker bars with a 2” rise. So 1/2” higher than the stock 5.5”. What I like about this is it moves the handlebars ahead a bit. I wanted a stock 6.5” riser but it pushes the stock bars back if you keep the riser parallel with the post.

So I’m trying to figure out how to taper the rear of the tunnel similar to the matryx. I was going to buy the rear section from a matryx last year and modify it to fit. I don’t think it would be that difficult…ideally I would shorten it up the tunnel and taper it in.

I seen Chad at CR makes the axys to matryx conversion kit…this would be the best route…compared to making the matryx tunnel piece fit. I wouldn’t add the cooler.

Just waiting to hear back from him if we could make something work. Really all he would have to do is modify the rear bumper of this kit to fit the cat tunnel.
I would assume with the pill of cats out there this would be a great upgrade kit..

Thoughts?

Why not a backwoods bumper from a Matryx. You’re pretty crafty I think this would look the best. Benny has sale on bumpers right now.

I did look at that one …definitely a possibility.

I thought of buying this one and bending a taper and modifying the rear cross piece. Then just make my own tunnel section.

It doesn’t have the lip like CR’s so should be straightforward.

I prefer the lip, seem to be stronger. I bent that rear bumper on my Sidewinder way to easy it seemed.

I bent two rear tunnel sections and bumpers in the last two seasons, I run a 162 with a 153 tunnel extension and bumper. Gotta find something stronger for this season.

Let us know how those lowers fit! Do the belt drive, it works and the weight/throttle response is worth it.

Had a look yesterday at a Polaris …I don’t think it would be that hard to taper the tunnel and add a tapered rear section or trim the tunnel and add something like CR or trex matryx bumper for strength. Ideally it should corner on top for strength.

I might try to track down a stock matryx slash bumper and do some figuring.
