I have mixed feelings about the synthetic line. I'm not as careful with it as I should be, plus there are aituationse where you can't avoid abrasion. So, after a while, I don't really trust it in extreme cases where a failure could result in a lost machine or a serious injury. I may go back to steel cable when it's time for a replacement.
