sorry there pilo he is being kind, in canada you can expect to pay 40% taxes and gst pst. also seen the work challenged in years past. had lots of kids= more money, both parents smoked 2 packs a day liked to drink for a past time etc. could have been working, but liked to drink a little.

yes not all are this way, just seems the honest hard working guy just can't get ahead. social workers are a joke, you will never save the world, but can have a great time on taxpayers cash.

how about the temp foreign workers.......who skip out on the job after making lots of friends...and work for cash...or just sell drugs etc............I know of a few ..... I seen one guy that lost his job a few years ago.....he comes up to me and asks hey you need some coke or anything...(he tells me he was supposed to be deported but then went below the radar)....he drives a better vehicle than I do and has been evading immigration for the last few years.........................but hey go on the service canada website and try to find a link to report his ass.........there's not one to be found.....but* tonns to supply him with appeals processess to stay in canada.................Just saying there are lots of canadians as well as foreigners that can take advantage of the so called system.....and if you can't get the system to work then they just work the system

The top hedge fund managers averaged a billion dollars income EACH last year... when everyone else was losing their retirement.....but lets blame the economic woes on the welfare recipients. Lets see $1,000,000,000.00 divided by well we'll say $40,000.00 per welfare family just to round up = 25000 families. I guess it's just alot easier to piss on the heads of the people below you than to look up and risk getting an eyeful...

nope the lady that did our income taxes told us yesterday people that collect welfare do not pay taxes but still have to file a return so they can get a gst credit, child tax benefit and what ever other benefits the lazy Fugger's get.

cant collect wefare because i've made too much in the past 3 years...
If I was a bum my whole life I could get something from the gov't but since im a hard worker and I get told to get F#$%^d when I need assistance.

great point!! No one to bail our butt in case of hardship. We know a kid who has been on welfare most of his life (under his parents) and now he is 21 and still on welfare. He was even getting vouchers for a night at the movies and swimming at the local pool. There was literally no incentive for him to go and work and make 10 bucks an hr as he clearly does better on welfare. He also had free dental to boot. That burns my azzzzzz!!
