In my head
Way out of my price range, but maybe someone here might be interested. $5000 off retail. Full carbon fiber and titanium. Caught my attention!

I have no issues buying used carbon frame bikes, they are tough. Have had a couple carbon bikes including a dh but now I'm full time ebike so no real advantage in carbon.

Last night I went retro and pulled out my 10 year old 29r hard tail for a rip.

Is a ten year old bike Retro? I have couple 20+ year old bikes. Good componentry (xtr, campy). Does this qualify?

Just saw a guy riding his mountain bike around on the rims. Didn't have any tires though.

When you're used to riding the latest technology 5years could be considered retro imo.
Bikes have changed alot over the last few years.
Ebikes
Electronic shifting
Electronic dropper post
Electronic suspension
Tire pressure monitoring
Tubeless tires

The trails are on the east side of town Just off hiway 3. North side of hiway are a few trails, south side in the community forest is the majority of the trails. Trans Canada trail runs along the hiway too.

Yes yes yes...

There are lots of wicked trails on both sides of the hwy...

I like the South side hand glider mountain...

The old wood launch pad ramp was looking worn down last time up there...

There are 2 other trails going up on the next peak...

Pack bike up,,, and free ride down...

The bike folks did a good job clearing the run down,,, not sure if they keep them open now days...

A person could ride a new trail every day...

Shes a wicked riding area,,, thanks for sharing P.d...
Yep been riding here for 2days and lots more to ride.

Been a while since I have been in the Nordegg/Ram Falls area. Watched my first downhill MTB races at Baseline MTN. Was hooked on downhill racing after that.
Use to ride from the fire watch tower when a lady named Rosie worked up there. Good times.

Yes,,, the fire tower is gone,,, the mountain bike community is still fairly active at base-line,,, I was going too shuttle drive folks up there one weekend...

Then get a chance too participate the rides next round out...

I'll find out more from the down hill crew ...
I prefer flow lines if I can find them...

A bit too old at catch-air thees days...

Lol...

Must remember too keep tires on the ground...
Steep riding out there, friend from Rocky who is a teacher built most of the trails.
