I was just up at goose tower on Saturday Nov. 28 riding. The snow is about a foot in most places. there is enough to ride but hardly enough to do anything. you can't venture off the trail because of logs and rocks. There's enough to test the sled out and thats about it. I parked at km 34 by the cabin.

It snowed sunday night. Does anyone know how much they got? Driving through edson to Evansburg there looked to be about 4-6 inches of new snow. (there was none on saturday)

I went with the Wednesday Night Riders and there was definitely enough snow to tire this old guy out.

Had a great time.I really think it depends on where you go as far as how much snow there is.
From what I have read in the posts a lot of Sledders are staging in different places.:):):):):)

I went back through the thread and found some directions from another member, hope this helps..... :d

Go through Whitecourt, take a right at the Big Casino(Fuel up at the Husky near there if u need to) Follow that road till u get to Swanhills, approximately One Kilometer after Swanhills, Take a left onto a Gasplant road, about 8-10km's in you take a left turn on a Y split(Im not 100% about the 8-10km's) Once you take a left, follow that road, till u see a little turn off(like a rest area almost), and theres a little shack. When u turn off to the little rest area it leads back onto the main road, rather than trying to turn around at a dead end.

Best directions I can give you. Have a good ride... BE SAFE :d

Just so you guys know. There is a new intersection in town to get to Tim Hortons westbound on hwy 43. Take the right before the cop shop, there is no right turn at the old Timmies exit anymore......Miss it and you go all the way down the hill. (Unless you go through the ditch with your trailer)
