We need to see how far we can get into the area. Lay trail in the ditch and see if we can cross the Athabasca safely. Gonna see if the ramp is Ok and go from there. Some riding and a little route finding as well. Will be a good day

Well we did it. On the way up it was -40 on the truck monitor. Unloaded at-33 rode for the day came back at -23. Cold and frosty goggles. KFROG broke in his new Pro like a pro. It should buff right out no problem. Few trees down across the trail after that big wind last week. Next trip we will bring a chainsaw.

Next project is the ramp. KFROG was the first across the Athabasca

7 hardy souls out there today Thanks Guys

THANKS to all the hardy souls that made the FROSTY trip . WHAT WERE WE THINKING ? None the less (After we got seven of nine sleds fired up ) we managed to get the trail set from the store in Flatbush along the ditch (with a few stucks ) to the Pembina river and across to the other side , down the trail (cleared some trees ) and to the Athabasca river .. Checked the ramp (which is mostly under a blanket of about a foot of snow ) and then KFROG did it-----He crossed the Athabasca and then we had a short break and headed back to Flatbush ..Aside from fogged up goggles and hand warmers not keeping fingers warm OH YEA and a TREE JUMPING OUT IN YOUR PATH we got our mission accomplished...THANKS ...
