Anyone else have a 2.8L Duramax in a Colorado or Canyon and want to post up their fuel economy numbers?

The Girlfriend bought a 2018 Colorado Z71 Crew Cab Short Box 4x4 with the 2.8L Duramax and on the highway the best we seem to get is 9.4L/100km at 110km/h to 120km/h, economy doesn't seem to change much between the 2 speeds. What is everyone else getting?

That’s not too far off a full size d-max is it? That’s kind of disappointing.

No it's not, my dad has a 2018 3500 CCLB Duramax and he is getting as good as 10.5L/100km on the highway at 100km/h. Even my F350 with 6" lift on 37's is getting as good as 15L/100km.

Wow, I must have a lemon or something. The best I ever got on my 3500 was about 14L/100km on the highway unloaded. ...and that's after DPF delete (DPF only, CAT is still in). I average 16 in summer and 16.3 in winter.

We just bought the terrain with the Deisel not sure if it’s the same but she’s at like 6-7 l per 100
We bought a terrain with the 1.5 gas and 9 speed, it's avg in 8000 km of everything drove is 7.7

Both will get better once broken in at say 20000 km

Yeah I couldn't believe it either, but hand calculated matches the instrument cluster. He even gets 19-21L/100km pulling his 7000lb 23ft travel trailer. And his truck is fully emissions intact.
