    The punishment for all crimes needs to be extreme, not just a holiday at an institution with 3 squares and a hot shower every day. Just my opinion but criminals have it better than our seniors.

    I agree with Clay, you've got to be prepared to pull off some front end parts and exhaust can and pipe. I've done the last four sleds with these braces and also installed a secondary tower brace.

    My daughter has a 500 Ninja and it's a great little bike. I think the 250 might be a bit shy on power for passing other vehicles.

    07 rev chaincase - loose adjuster bolt

    Pulled the chaincase cover off today and found the allen bolt that holds the chaincase tensioner bearing loose. This is the bolt that holds the bearing in the tensioner body. My neighbor had his apart also.........finger tight is all this bolt was. Just a heads up to check this before it creates...

    Dynamo Joe CLutch Kit

    Here is my setup on my 09 xp 154, QR11 helix with 160/350 primary spring, pins are 15.3 grams and I'm using joe's ramps. This combo works at home-3500 ft and in the mountains. Also running a 20 tooth top sprocket in the chaincase.

    08 XP 800 Primary Spring Cover

    Are the three allen head bolts still in the sliding half or did they get pulled out? If it was taken apart to check the primary spring, maybe the cap was not torqued to spec. Was the bushing checked for wear and the measurement was still under the spec. replacement number?

    I have installed many DJ kits and they all worked fabulous. Did you install the helix correctly? You have to make sure the helix ramp profile lines up with the rollers in the secondary, did you have it out of rotation a quarter turn? I'm sure ther must have been something wrong and there are...

    Metal supermarket in Calgary has aluminum angle in just about any size. They will cut to length whatever you need.

    It only adds .01276 pounds to the sled, but with my full figured body, it doesn't really matter. Floatation is not a word I'm familiar with.........

    There are a ton of mods you can do to the sled but just ride the thing and see how it feels. You probably already know that sleds have changed a bit in the last ten years. :yahoo:
