I wanted a little firmer and higher seat on my sled, so for a $1.49 I bought one of those swimming pool noodles, cut it up and installed it under the seat where the owners manual was. It doesn't raise the seat height much but it sure feels way better. My neighbor put an air ride seat on his, he found a small inner tube, stuffed it under the seat between the foam and plastic then pumped it full of air. Call me crazy but it works pretty darn good. Here are a couple pics of my foam filled seat.

This mod raises the seat height only about half an inch.

I bet it "floats" better in the pow.....

It only adds .01276 pounds to the sled, but with my full figured body, it doesn't really matter. Floatation is not a word I'm familiar with.........
