Hi, What is the best way to remove the track clips on a track? I have a new 16" 2.5" camo extreme and want to remove every second one, a 4lb savings I am told.

Pliers have always worked in the past for me, I usually CAREFULLY grind the center of the clip with an angle grinder and zip disc. As for removing clips to save weight - I wouldn't bother. The increased friction between the hyfax and track, as well as no support on your track from the extrovert drivers will eventually result in accelerated hyfax and track wear in my humble opinion. I know this has been a discussed issue for years, but I feel with the single ply tracks being used today it is more of an issue.

If you want to drop 4 pounds just chow down on xlax and Jack Daniels the night before you ride, you'll drop way more than 4 pounds.:)
