Pulled the chaincase cover off today and found the allen bolt that holds the chaincase tensioner bearing loose. This is the bolt that holds the bearing in the tensioner body. My neighbor had his apart also.........finger tight is all this bolt was. Just a heads up to check this before it creates major problems.

I have two revs and found both just as you described. I dont think the bolt can go very far as the cover holds it from comming out too far. I did put blue lock tite on my bolts after finding them loose. Not sure if it has helped as I have not had the covers off since.
