Can we get that text with proper units?

Which is proper units? I can convert either. I prefer mpg as that's what I grew up with,I am getting used L/100 km.

MPG is the only unit of yankee measurement I actually like and use personally.
Liter/100km is the gayest measurement ever. Who drives exactly 100km? I know how many L my tank holds, I want to know how far I can go on the average fuel consumption/km.
KM/L makes more sense to me.
It would be like the price of gas being calculated in liters/$100!

Yes I hand calculate each tank. I fill it the same every time, takes 5 to 6 litres every time after it clicks off. I've checked my speedo with a gps and it reads 1 km slower than actual speed. So far every tank the lie-o-meter is off by .3L/100 km for the worse. As in the truck reads 8.5L/100 km and hand calculated it works out to 8.2L/100 km.

I doubt it. I've never seen any vehicle spill gas on the road when leaving a gas station.

On a gasser there are only 3 ways fuel can get out of the tank - tailpipe, filler or as vapour out the charcoal cannister that's usually near the tank. Well 4 I guess if you poke a hole in it lol.

No chance with anything newer, it's all sealed


Problem is u will fawk ur carbon canister, fill it with gas, and then it will suck that gas into the engine, make it run rich, turn engine light on and may make it real hard to diagnose y ur engine light is on running rich

the wifes mercedes says to not top up on the inside of the fuel door.

I dont top up my ram, after filling 110-115 liters im not standing there to trickle a couple more in, ive tried like 6 times since 2010 and its always gas leaking down the side of my truck, fawk it.

I wouldn't over-fill a gasser but my diesels I have always filled right to the neck, every time. Never a problem. There's a trick to getting the last bit in foam free. Some pumps are poorly set up and don't throttle well though.

But diesel doesn't have hydrocarbons like gas, there not a sealed system

My 2009 ram 1500 when the pump clicks off its full! I was like you when I first got it, I tried to get few more litres in. But with those trucks you only get about 10 cents more.

Well the vapors emitted when u take the cap off ur gas fuel tank

Diesel don't have it really , hence y diesels don't have a evap system


So stuff that up ur azz, smart azz
