hey buddy, i will put 100 dollars on it, to show you how ineffective your quad will be when we engade in a 1 hr, ok,ok will make it a 1/2 an hour, cause your out of shape..

and we will do a CROSS COUNTRY GNCC style ride, non stop.. who ever gets to the finish line first can claim the 100 bucks, cool? you better start tunin now. LOL..

Can I bring my CR 500 because that's what I race with, you may still be at the midpoint of the track and the race will be over for me in 15 minutes.

what your quad not up for the challenge.. all of a sudden its a bike... get real.. where in this world have you seen bikes against quads??

Well since your comparing your bike to a utility quad, how about we race with trailers you can put 800 lbs in your trailer and I will put 1000lbs in mine to give you a chance and then we will race. I don't have to accept your challengs or disapear, is this some kind of rule you just made up that you think I have to follow....your probally retarded.

there are a few things that are very true about the popo 850..

it is a very nice machine
it is a utility quad
it has a very nice cushy ride
it has great mud protection
it has one of ( not the best ) but equal 4 x 4 systems on the market.
it does move along very well
now wether it is repair free or not, well every quad has its problems.
i have owned popo's with great results and have owned hams with great results too and visa versa.

and honestly, i think its a great machine
BUT the way you go on about it ( no real independant proof ) promo ads don't count here.... just sayin..

any 4 x 4 is a utility quad... just some are labeled sport utility.. i believe even some call the 850xp a sport utilitly..

the 850 popo is in the same race classes as the outlanders are.. there are 4 classes, depending on mods... the only class that runs by itself is the U2 class. the renegades run in this class.. this is for GNCC only but in local state races the rene's run with the utility quads too.. they are the same thing.. same class.

Well it is titled 800 Can Am vs Polaris 850XP and as for the promo ad..as I said before a lot of the stuff is true and you can't dispute it, some can be disputed and to the best of my knowlege the disputed parts hold their ground and I did a lot of research before I bought my quad and for the reasons I need a quad...well I bought the XP. Polaris did what Suzuki did with their Hayabusa, they shocked everybody and here is a forum titled appropriatly where anyone can go on about their 800 or 850 or other bikes for some....just the way it is. Promo adds, owners telling their stories, statistics, specifications...it's all arguementative material. I take some and give some back. I kind of like shallow hal, his women are big but everybody needs some lovin.

Well then since we both have utility in the name, why does GNCC not have trailer races where they put a 1000lbs of bricks in a trailer and then drag race through mud, sounds fun to me, I would love to see the outcome instead pure race orientated drags that really puts no emphasis on the name of a utility quad and what some intend to use them for. The biggest sport race I will ever be in is with a cooler/chainsaw/fishing rod and tackle box tied to my racks trying to get to a lake in comfort. Then I need to heat my camp and collect firewood, not race through mud holes and win buy a nose to say I have a better quad then an XP.

Mines still faster, jumps higher and goes through anything...nothing can stop it.......and it doesn't break....EVER...:beer:

Children, children... To make it fair, take the racks off your 850XP (the back one is like 6 screws) and stiffen up your pre-load. Thats pretty much what a Renegade is, an Outlander XXC with no racks..... And lots of other stuff in Marks case.

To make it fair, I'll join. I'll take the racks off my Brute and race for fun too. :beer:

they would probably hold up not too bad considering that they can take jumps which is a heck of a lot more load that towing any trailer regardless of how fast your going. Think about it:

mass + speed + gravity + height > mass + speed + gravity

just a little engineering for you to consider
