Summit Weird Belt Wear Pattern

possible check engine mounts,when on throttle the engine could be shifting causing alignment issue

If it rubbing on the outside of the belt it has nothing to do with alignment. Most likely rubbing on your belt guard. Should be pretty easy to see if the guard is getting rubbed. Most guys run there belt way to loose. Should be 3/4"-1 play and not quite squeaking at idle.

It's the inside and the only way it can wear there is at idle on the primary or the secondary at full shift out.

Wow!!! ok its the inside of the belt and that's from idling only... there is no shield issue but the alignment of the engine is off a bit. run it and watch the wear if it starts to shred the belt then get the clutch alignment done. the older XP's 08-10 had this issue and has been mentioned before in older threads. The problem got better the newer the sled and now is not an issue. google the problem ad you ill find it or if you want to take few beer into the garage and loosen the motor mounts ad do it yourself with a few straight edges an a measuring device you can do it yourself
