And the oiler's still get a point out of last nites game........hmmmmm, tied for 5th from the bottom......... Won 6 of last 9 games, and 2 of the 3 losses were shoot out losses..........oilers sure aren't bottom feeders anymore, are they?

i wouldnt say bottom feeders, we do need our defence to step up though, our offence when in controll are playing great, but when we get back to our own end khabibulin is doin all the work, he played a hell of a game last night...

Ya won't be quiet for long. Where did Omark come from? He was the best oiler on the ice last night. That kid can fly on skates. 2014 will be the season for the oilers if they can keep the young talent. Pajarrvi, Hall, Eberle, Whitney, Gagner & Omark. Best young & comers in the league if Tamby can keep Lowe out of the equation :D.

the Oil have five cups and two other stanley cup appearances...more to come in the near future:d..the sedin sisters are not going to get vancouver a cup. That team is flaky just like the nice flakes of snow we play in that come down from the sky.there has only bin two captains in all of history to win the cup and there nationality be something other than canadien.Who where they? This OILer Fan will not be silent or shamed like when chicago beet your azz last spring....whats with those two fagots in van with those spandex suits?

Strong words against a team that sits #1 in its division, #2 in its conference and #3 in the league. say what you want, the only time that matters is the present and the nucks are play-off bound. maybe the oilers can host a closest to the pin tourney with the flames and leafs.

just sayin.

Your right the Sedins have been a work in progress and they have been spanked by chicago 2 years in a row. But they beat Edmonton 3 times in a row this year and i got 60 bucks because of it.

Wanna bet on that 1? You'll beat the Sutter Circus but 8 th place requires over a 67% wins the rest of the way & that might not even doo it!

Non Canadian captains should include Charlie Gardner 1934 Chicago cap'n who was born in Scotland and did not become Canadian til later in life. I believe the Hawks also had a non Canadian cap'n in the 30's Johnny Gotsellig from 38 or 39, he like Gardner was not a Canadian til after captaining the Hawk to a cup. So the actual # is 4. Phew and you say you're hockey fans!:nono:

Rumors abound that the canucks were a possible move to quebec, hamilton or even winnipeg......... Afterall, they lost the grizzly's basketball team, so who out there cares about the canucks anyway? It was a team that was rumored in the papers....... Jus' sayin'................
