Re: Official REVY Riding conditions 2011/12

There is no doubt take spring is just around the corner. It probably did not matter were you rode today as the snow was deep, dry and coming over the hood. The sun roasted us all day and it was not hard to burn a full tank of fuel up on Griffin. Did a little sled recovery from yesterdays break down as Jack launched his new venture" Jacks Towing And Sled Salvage". He does have a unlisted phone number luckily as I did see him taking short cuts through the trees with this customers sled on his first tow. I think I'll fly mine out.

The art of any sled recovery is knowing which short cuts to take. Got the broken cat down in oe piece so customer is happy.

The season has been fantastic so far! Every weekend i go there is more snow covering any old tracks! Once again the snow in Revy supports the idea that Revy is the Mecca of sledding!

With the recent warm weather and rain at Revy, how are the parking lots holding up? Mud, ice or snow?

Re: Official REVY Riding conditions 2011/12

Looks like unreal snow conditions out there for late late march...so jealous

i could see how you could unintentionally drive over the cabin there in keystone and not know (not like the boulder incident) especially if you arent really sure where you are ie fog or snowing. hopefully nothing got damaged.
