For those riding a 155 or 165 matryx slash have you seen the new polaris options for fuel cans and storage bags for? Not sure if I will have room for both, similar to the mountain addiction setup I've had the last 4 years. (Large bag and 13L can).

I did some digging on the polaris website but the sizes are pretty unclear. Post your potential storage options to give some ideas for how to set it up!

I been waiting to see if Polaris comes out with a lock and ride type can set-up . I haven’t had too many real deep days yet or super long trails going in so haven’t really had the need to carry extra fuel

I'm running the Mountain Addiction large can on my boost. 12L I think? With the amount of fuel the boost goes through it's not enough.

Everyone in my group is using lynx brackets and skidoo jerry cans. They are definitely the best set up.

I used my old bag from my Axys. Remove the quick release mechanism and just bolt it to the sled. I removed the new plastic bracket that comes on the Matryx. I did have to drill a new hole in base of the tunnel bag, but it works fine. The mountain addition gas can and rails fit perfect in the factory drilled holes.

Good system. But it’s so wide on the poo. You don’t catch ch!t on them or bash them off?

Hasn’t been an issue yet. It’s only 1/2 inch on each side. All we do is ride trees. It’s kind of an expensive set up (the 15L doo Jerry is $$$) but if you keep it and move it to your next sled it’s not so bad.

Or you can get these Kimpex brackets that hold your linq accessories 1/4" above your tunnel so it does not get scratched to chit.
Works awesome.
This is the 4th sled my linq stacker gas can has been on. Two doos, a Cat and the Boost.
Second sled for the tunnel bag.

You drilled new holes in your tunnel to attach those brackets, right?

Yes, two on each side as the spacing is different for two of the three holes needed.
Two sided tape and 1" dia washer (1/4" hole )to level the tunnel corrogations and provide support, comes with large washers for inside the tunnel.
Very solid once in place and holds accessories well above tunnel.
Exchangers end well before the holes.

Been running a bracket to put the Doo Linq gas cans (and bags or any linq attachment I want) on my sleds since brackets became available. Have been running one on my Axys RMK for 4 seasons and have had NO issues. It doesn't move, get caught up by trees, or get caught by my foot etc....its the best set up by far. Easily detaches and looks pretty good as well. Its not cheap to get it set up, but as mentioned already you can just move it a new sled if need be...the brackets to put Linq on non Doo sleds aren't that expensive and if you are handy you could easily just fab some up to. There are tons of useful Linq accessories that I'm sure could be used for other stuff as well.
