Lots of good old polaris sleds out there. Just know what your looking for when you buy one. Btw I seen snow monkey had a great looking summit for sale on this site if he is willing to try something other then polaris check the classified section.

I'd let the sled go in my avatar for $3000, I have an invoice of $1300 worth of work so it will run solid for years to come. I almost choked when I seen the bill. It is missing a piece of the hood on the right hand side. It is a 1997 700 RMK 136" Track 2" lugs, has a can, 2000miles. If I can't get $3000 for it I'll prob just hold onto it for another season since I pretty much paid to overhaul it.

Their is a guy on this forum that has a black hood for $200 if cosmetics is a concern. Anyone that has rode with me knows that it can go and won't be having to fix anything. The track is a 136 but its easy to upgrade to a 144, but even with a 136 your brother will be able to go wherever.

Not guna lie, my 98 rmk 600 was a GREAT starter sled! if it had a bit more juice id still be on it (700). With out the sway bars it became easy for me to side hill, carve, and it handeld well on the trails. they also have bulit proof motors.
