Off topic, but where did you get your flooring? and what is the color of your walla called?.. Looking to re-do my room. Thanks

The floor is American cherry. Clear coated " no stain ".
The wall behind the welder with 3pics is called caramel apple. It looks like goose chit when putting it on. I stopped after two strokes of the brush..... Looked at the wife, she said keep painting!
Looks great dry! IMO.

P.S flooring was bought from Advanced Hardwood. Its real H W not lam or pre finished!

wow moving along quick and looks great man
Thx the 14 foot walls look alot taller than I thought. We've had a steady flow of gawkers. They all think I'm freaking nuts, 1370sqft garage.

Wouldn't be able to build that in town here. Too tall for a residential neighbourhood.
Too tall in Red Deer too! Our bylaw is 14'9 to the peak for a de-tached. You can go higher, you just have to ask and go through the MPC approval process, not hard, not easy but it’s possible. I asked for 26 feet hoping I would get 24...they pushed me down to 18 feet. I was planning a loft/mezzanine, Red Deer does not like them as too many idiots turn them into rental living space without the proper venting etc!

So with all the rain it has been very slow going on the build. My frost walls turned into a swimming pool of muck. Pump ran alot.
Back filled now and waiting on frammer. Wood is here and trusses are here in a couple days.
So woundering what everyone is using for lights, the shop part is 34X20 with 14'6 walls with scissor truss, the car side is24X24 with 9'7 walls again with scissor truss. I would like to keep things clean and un-obstructed if at all possible.
A couple pics of the.....dirt!

Have big stack of first call. Gas, power, phone and sat all come from house side. Dug in already.
