Looks like skidoo stepped up and addressed the issue the right way good on them
They are definatly addressing the issue.
Solid driveshaft is the real fix, this just puts stronger parts on a bad (woobly) idea.
But it at least shows some ownership.

I wouldn’t be surprised it was a supply issue last year and they weighed their options and decided cheaper parts and some some warranty issues as opposed to making the customers wait on their units and be pizzed off. Nobody wants their new sled in February or March

I think That’s exactly what happened. None of us could buy our own gears. They didn’t exist at the time.

Weird that Martins west will book your appointment and give you a date but the south cannot…

What's all the doo ambassadors saying about this now? Last season it was all about improper chain adjustment and now it is a swap out of parts. Would be interesting to hear from them on this issue.

would be great to get a candid response but if anything, it'll be whatever BRP lets them disclose.

Well they sill have the woobly driveshaft sooooo hardly call it "fixed".
More like "mitigated" for longer life.
Doo and their wobbly parts, when will they learn???????
Fixing the dtiveshafts for everybody would be $$$$, this will get the sleds off warranty without more fixes by BRP.
