I talked to a Friend today who lives on mountainview rd in Mcbride, she was evacuated on Friday but is now back home.

We are still in the same spot since we evacuated, it’s cold and lightly raining today, there is barely a breeze today. Yellowhead county reported that they have a substantial fire guard built that helped keeping the fire from spreading in that brutal wind yesterday. According to the county the Edson is still at risk but I feel the weather is going to help in all evacuation areas.

Parkland county rr20 been pouring pretty hard since 6:45, still coming down hard at 8:40. Filled all my rain barrels. Lighting struck here very close. Starts to let up then hammers again. This is good for all will put out or assist with many fires. Think with all the rain it will be tough for lighting to do much.
