February 2011 Conditions

Pretty windblown in Blackwater today but still lots of good snow in the trees. We found some slopes that were getting pretty loaded and had one crack and sluff under me when Sletslut and I were coming down from a Peakseeker rescue mission. We also saw another spot where a small avy had let go a bit later in the afternoon. Cold and windy all day but it was waaaaaaay better than being at work. :d:d

snowing and a hot -11. off to renshaw later today to pull a broke down nitro out of the back.
my guys had some really good snow in Spirt yesterday.

Woke up to -11 and about three inches of snow on the hot tub this morning. Looks like it's been snowing lightly up top since yesterday morning. Windy yesterday but it has died off since. Now the snow is just floating down. Our guests this past weekend were thrilled with the conditions here. Barry and Rod heading out to finish their sled rescue on Tuesday and HOPEFULLY they will get some pictures.
