Hey guys.

There is a group of us heading to Cooke in mid February. Just looking for any info on the requirements of transporting our sleds across the border. What do we need for insurance, bill of sale etc. Any info would be much appreciated.
Hopefully its not a gong show.

They didn't ask us for anything, but we had matching ID & Registration, they were more concerned with why I was bringing a case of whiskey INTO the US......

Bringing them back across you face more questions.... "where did you buy it?" "How long have you owned it?" but still did not have to produce registration

Not really any hassle either direction, pretty easy peezy..

Enjoy your trip

Never a issue going down. Back into Canada they always check insurance and registration on all sleds. I always carry bill of sale on trailer and truck just to prevent any hassle.

we went to the states last year with dirt bikes the us customs did not ask us anything about the bike
when we came back to canada they still did not ask us anything about the bikes only the standard questions
how long you been gone, how much $ in goods and how much beer do you have it was like they did not even see the dirt bikes that
were in plain sight on the back of the truck
we took our insurance cards and registrations and plates ( not on bike at the time ) just in case
