If there's anyone on here local (edmonton ) , thats got a short intake for a 670X drop me a line.. I can get one brought in from crankshop if i have too but thought i'd try this first..

Beware,the 670x has different shaped intake ports than a regular 670.if memory servs me correctly.

Moves carbs closer to the motor, way better throttle response. I got mine from the CrankShop, but sounds like Deano will have some and probably for a similar price after shipping, etc.

You can get them for oil and non-oil injection. Big difference in throttle response, a relatively cheap mod that is worth it IMO.

Tuning how? No jetting changes if that's what you mean. Shorty RV intakes are different than just using shorter boots. I'll take some pics of mine tonight and post later.

They will be $220-$250 including shipping not 100% sure on the shipping cost. The more that get ordered the cheaper they get.

The problem with them as far as $$$ goes is nobody wants to stock inventory on parts that are for " outdated " engines... So for them to tool up just to make 2 or 3 aint cost effective. ( can't blame em ).. In any event , Deano you got my # gimme a shout cuz i do need one.. I should be back home from work by the weekend or so.
