The itch is getting bad......

No, Just got back from there. I have ridden there in november and saw more snow. there is such a lack of snow and so many rocks right now it’s disgusting. The Terrain is literally different than normal for second half of november the snow is so low.

Probed 110 cm at the cabin meadows.

Not many tracks over the backside. Gotta trend lightly through the rocky areas but you can see most of them at the moment.

Looking to ride mcbride this weekend the 21st and 22nd, just moved to the area and dont know any locals. Would any of you kind folks care to go riding with me? I know the snows a bit thin but i've been itching to get out.

My son and some other guys headed there this morning. Hopefully they had a bit of fresh and it wasn't just enough to cover the bombs again.

Obviously pretty slow start to the season but shes been pretty quiet in here.

Dunster highway cam looks gnarly and forecast shows precipitation all the way to Friday. Anyone able to provide a mid week update?

Seems to do that a lot now, snow and in comes the bitter cold right after.

Saturday might be the day to hit renshaw if it dumps enough. Sun too.

It appears the forecast was actually pretty accurate, the Renshaw weather station is reporting about 18" of new snow in the past 24 hours, Belle Mountain has 10" of fresh in the parking lot this morning and we have about 20cms in town this morning. If the rest of the week follows the forecast the weekend could be fun!
If you're heading to the mountains check the Avalanche Canada website https://www.avalanche.ca/en/map for the latest on conditions and make smart decisions as to what type of terrain you play on. I've seen in several reports recently the term "volatile snow pack " this should concern all back country users and extra caution should be exercised. Also if you're in the need of a ball cap to cover up the dreaded helmet hair we now have some in stock at Rich Boyz Mechanical & Towing .

It’s snowed nearly 40cm at the renshaw weather station this week. Currently -6, however, it did hit 0 yesterday but was still snowing.

Yes, talked to Hotrod this morning and there has been a good dump at Renshaw about 30 inches. But there has been rain in the area not sure if it went to the top!

We are going to try calling the sled mcbride hotline tonight. I noticed the grooming sign wasn’t up when we came down tonight. I hope they groom it. Easily 150+ sleds up there today and she was TRASHED up and down
