Heading to McBride and at Moose Lake across the railroad bridge west on the corner about 15 cars on their sides and tracks like spaghetti! Lots of equipment
Mobilizing. Cars full of fertilizer.
Hotrod was coming down Renshaw trail, took his eyes off the road and bit the dust. Broke the lower left A-arm on his 2016 Polaris Axys Rmk. Just seeing if anyone has a take off or spare they’re willing to sell to get the sled back running! Thks. Higgins. 780-499-4367
Well Hotrod got hit Tuesday night, both snowmobiles and trailer were taken! Locks and chain cut! Apparently they jacked a truck, generator, Hotrods sleds and trailer and a couple jerrys of fuel on there shopping trip!!! RC's figure they pushed the truck to the back of the yard to keep any noise...
Once again El-Jay Grooming would like to thank you the Sledders the community of McBride and the Snowmobile Club for making this another excellent season of riding in the McBride area!! Have a Great Summer and see you next winter!!
Some of you may know some may not, Tom has reopened his edmonton shop and is back doing engine work and parts supplying. Had some health issues but cleaned that up and decided to get back into the business. Not doing performance work though! Keeping with the stock stuff, cranks, rebuilds...
Hello everyone, just an update to inform you that Hotrod will commence building the Renshaw trail starting on Tuesday Nov.26th. This usually takes 3-4 days to complete so please be aware he will be on that trail during daytime hours! Use caution! It also means trail fees will be collected...
Talked to Hotrod and wouldn't you know it just after a great season ends someone puts a damper on it and steals the wall heaters, lines and bottles from the Lucielle and Belle collection shacks. They were there on the Tuesday when everything was closed up and gone by Wednesday morning when...
Grooming is now complete for the 2012/13 riding season! El-Jay grooming would like to thank you the Sledders, the community of McBride and the McBride Snowmobile club for your support. Have a Great Summer and we'll see you next season!!
Due to very poor conditions on the lower part of Renshaw and continued warm temps Hotrod will no longer be grooming the trail. El-Jay grooming would like to thank all the sledders for supporting the community of McBride, the snowmobile club and trail system! Thanks everyone. See you next season.
Had a young fellow join us for the weekend and he shows up with a 2010 M8 with no handle bar riser. He's 6'2" tall. "Thats not going to work here!" This is what the bright minds came up with! I was real skeptical but it worked.
Tom and Hellen are moving their business to a new location on the North West end of Edmonton in January. Going into a new building with more space and everthing that goes with it. So for old or new customers needing snowmobile, atv and motorsports services the address is 15434-131ave. NW...
Thanks to the group who decided to take all the cans and bottles and dump them out of the garbage can all over the cabin floor! Real class act. Hotrod and i found the mess when we groomed there Thursday evening. Just when you think sledders got their act together...it never fails. Higgins.:nono:
When talking to the McBride crew at the show , i met a gentleman who owns the recently vacated Fasgas that Glen was in. And he's going to be re-opening it up as the Sled Den, i think was the name. Basically offering Parts, repairs, upgades, and rentals. So still another option for the sledders...
Heard rumours of $5 to $10 increases to trail passes for most or maybe all riding areas in BC. Increased operating costs, lack Govt. funding for clubs, CAC donation and HST are some of the contributing factors.
I purchased a pair of these some years ago but i can't seem to find out who makes them or what sled they were used on. Bought originally thru Echo Cycle but they don't carry them or have info. I was running them with some pod filters and need to setup a third for my triple. If you can help me...
