Well, had one of those amazing days you always hope for when heading to the mountains Clear sky's, warm temps and a tons of fresh snow. 2 of us burnt the 12 gallons in our sleds and the 20 litre cans we brought up (thanks Higgens for helping get the Pro to the parking lot after finally running dry and for showing us around was Stellar !

What an amazing weekend. Haven't had one of these in years. Today was very hard to see but the snow was amazing. Yesterday was insane. Perfect skies perfect snow and perfect temps. Out of gas by 1 o'clock. For those of you wondering there is still a ton of great snow to be had and it was snowing hard when we left.

Yes it was a spectacular weekend. Still some good snow to be found and more on the way from the looks of things. Thanks to Judy for keeping us so well fed!

Just wanted to comment on the 3 days riding in McBride. First off, we stayed with Leona at the "Better than" At home B@B. Simply wonderfull hospitality. The food is seriously tremendous. She has the BEST total package! Hats off the Stephen for riding with us!

We hooked up with JC Higgins and his posse for a few days of riding. What a ton of fun. Great days in deep power and even a day of sunshine! Great time had my myself (gm3d) and sledtillded (also know as "The Dogg") Even the Ol' Dogg had enough riding on Saturday.

Thanks to all in McBride that make the place a great sled destination!

Renshaw was amazing Saturday. But holy I've never seen more sleds stuck on flat ground or being towed out in one day. Had the best tree riding of the year in the back, waste to chest deep powder all to our selves. Some cats tried to follow us back to the honey hole but couldn't make the first climb in through the trees. Rode there for probably 3-4 hours and never saw another sled till we came back into the open bowls. Trail down was BRUTAL though but best day of the year hands down

Always Thursday, Friday, Saturday, some Sundays or Tuesdays depending on the numbers. Lucielle Saturdays, and Wednesday and Belle once a week usually Mondays.

Have been out of the loop fer 7 years...i want to try this new XM in some pow!!! Been WAY to long....
Buddy needs a beacon and probe too. I would imagine they have them there...

The reports i got from guys that rode renshaw yesterday was there is awesome snow up top. Especially if you venture away from the cabin.
