    Brule Ride July 12-14

The Canada Alberta Trikes page is hosting it’s 7th official Trikefest this weekend at the Brule Sand Dunes. Not sure how many people here have trikes or would be interested, but it’s open to anyone. Doesn’t matter what you ride. Brand or number of wheels is immaterial.

    Any trike enthusiasts on here?

It's been awhile since I've posted to this forum. Just wondering how many trike enthusiasts are here and what machines you might have. I have a few collected up now and I'm always looking for more.

    19?? Yamaha yz490

Just picked up an old school yz490 and I'm trying to figure out the year on it. Just wondering if there's any guru's on here that know something about them. I got it narrowed down to an 89 or 90 I think. White frame with white plastics and red seat, disc brake on front, right side exhaust, and 5...

Looking for parts for a 1987 Yamaha Big Wheel 350

I need carb parts for this old gem. Yamaha in their great wisdom back then used TK carbs, and they were dealer specific. Since then they have discontinued some parts. Part I need most is called the main nozzle or emulsion tube. The brass tube the main jet screws into at the bottom, and the...

    Blowing stators

Is there any reason a sled should go through stators? I just blew my second one in under 200 km on my MountainMax 700. The original went at 4800km, so ordered up one through Royal Distributing cause it was 300 bucks cheaper than Yamaha. Is it possible I just got a faulty unit or is there...

    Carburetor woes!

I just picked up a couple of Yamaha BW bikes. Problem is the both require some carb work. They ran TeiKei carbs back then and finding certain parts seems to be impossible. The main nozzle or emulsion tube (depending on which website I search) seems to be obselete. The part number for the nozzle...

    ATC 300x

Soon to be my new toy. Bit of a fixer upper. Plastics have seen way to much sun and have become brittle. Other than that it's complete. Frame is still straight, tires got tones of tread, engine has great compression. Just some fresh gas and tlc and this will be the next toy I hurt myself with lol.

    Setting race sag?

Just wondering if anyone out there knows what static and race sag should be for a 2006 yz125? My kid shot up about 6" and gained around 30 lbs since I got him the bike a year ago. He weighs about 195 now so I'm not sure if I can set it properly on the stock spring or if I'll need to get a...

    Mounting plates

Just wondering were everyone puts these gay ass plates on bikes not designed to have them? Front number plate works but I think that's gaudy looking. Side number plates are a good spot for getting trashed, and that's including legs, plastics, and the plate itself. Any other suggestions? Sent...

    My kid needs a ride

Hey all my 14 year old son has decided he wants to get a bike. He's got very limited experience on 2 wheels, so I'm not sure as to what to get. I'm kinda thinking something like a crf150r myself, or a cr85 but he'll outgrow that within a year depending on how much he rides. Any suggestions...

    97 MM700 no spark

Was gonna go for a ride this morning and no start, which is very uncharacteristic of this sled. It's never not started. Done the routine things like check/change plugs, operation of all switches, make sure it's all on, dumped some gas in the cylinders. Compression is good. Essentially it all...

ZRT 600 in need of serious help

Buddy of mine recently acquired this sled but it runs like a sick dog. I wanna try to get it into a reliable riding condition so he won't be disappointed about sledding. ThIs sled originally came from Greenwood BC. I'm thinking it was jetted for around 10000 ft. It now needs to be tuned for...
