Just got back from registration office. I have an 03 summit 800 that I purchased used. So I have a bill of sale for it.
Now I put a new after market tunnel, different colour hood and powder coated other parts. To change from orange to black -red. Went today and had no trouble to register it as I had bill of sale and Insurance with original serail #. The lady changed colour on bill of sale and stamped it for cops. Was told to put serail no. on steel plate and rivet it to tunnel. My cost was $24.00 to register. Also told if I want to have a goverment person to come out to put the serial plate on it would be only $50.00. Now I'm register and insured so should have no troulbe with cops.

I phone the rcmp in morinville. they said rivet a new plate with your old vin onto new tunnel, keep a copy of original bill of sale, receipt for tunnel, and registration and insurance and you will have 0 problems. cost me 10 bucks for the plate.

Bend over 8or and Max - can you feel this....lol....

How can the rules be so different?????

I think buy the letter of the law they are correct. fellow in morinville said that if your documents show the proper trail and it makes sense that's all they want to see.
