Not worried at all. I know it WILL out climb my axys! just find it funny that there is this much hype over the sled when its only a bit faster than an SP.

So the new stock doo is let's say as fast as your mtntk full mod poo+/-....and that's disappointing?
I don't get it. But whatever turns your crank. I doubt anyone will have you at gunpoint with your credit card out at the nearest doo dealer. No worries man.

i don't know. It looks like just a 2.5.

i guess it all depends on who you ask. There's a 165 here in Colorado that people have been riding and everyone that rises it says the same thing. The Xm is no match for it in any way. Power, maneuverability, and predictability are way better. And no, it's not just one guy. It's several people saying it. Some people just have a hard time accepting that Doo has a winner here.

For sure on all the good points but if not apples to apples on a strait pull the video could be made to look very favourable for G4.
I am sure it works very well as they did a lot of great changes.
I will wait for the 2018 but good job BRP.
AXYS also !!

I agree. It does look easy to make it favorable for the G4. Hopefully this weekend I'll be able to throw a leg over the G4 and make a decision for myself. My dealer will have one Thursday- Monday so I should be able to ride it. And I ride poo as well so I think I'll be able to get a pretty accurate feel of it. Doo has a big job to beat the Axys. If I don't like it I'll get an axys so I really don't care which one does better. I just don't like it when people that haven't ridden one have so much to say about it.

I didnt say anything that the video and or skidoo marketing team has touched on.. just pointed out the obvious!!

I would love to drive one. they have a bunch of awesome technology. Time will tell with how it works when guys start to put a bunch of miles on them. the direct oiling on the crank bearings is great and if the primary actually needs no maintenance, that too would be amazing!

I noticed when I kept it clamped for 2-3 minutes straight the RPM dropped to 6500. It was still in break in mode so could possibly be the computer telling me not to be such a prick or possible heat soak. There was no snow on the vents this was a straight up climb. Could have been clutching as well.
Do you even know what heat soaking means?! Lol

So..... im a bit confused. The new Rev 850 has 10 more HP (163 to 165)?? New, more efficient primary clutch, lost 25 lbs, revs 30% faster but yet it is only a sled length faster than last years T3. Man skidoo is good at marketing...... I wont go spend that kind of cash for 1 sled length!! Guys think this is the greatest thing since sliced bread!!
Wow I really sense some real resentment toward this new sled.

Does this "apples to apples" comparison include weights?
442 lbs for the axys. 441 for the Doo. Doo wins.
Lmao.

Dammit. My 2001' 700 was way faster in a drag race than my T3. Guess I should see if I can buy it back.
