Nice to see you guys up there yesterday Sask! Great pow day for the first ride out. There were 5 of us at Allen Creek in total yesterday. Made it to the back side with Sask Summit, but there is a couple of things everyone should know. snowpack has a hard crust layer about 18 inches down and appears to be a rain crust hoar frost mix. I am going to advise everyone to take extreme caution this next while, there was some natural slide activity on north facing slopes, and the snow was cracking on pretty much any north face. There could be some big events triggered over the next while. In reality it's like being out the first week of November on a normal year. Good pow for now but carved with one eye closed lol. Ticked the odd tree underneath but all in all a good break in day. I will wait for another dump before heading out again. Long day yesterday as we did a day trip from Drayton Valley. Home by ten........ loving the T3!!!!

Just wondering when the new trail will be ready? I was told there are some pretty nasty switchbacks on the old trail and won't be going with newer riders till the new one is good and groomed..

depends. usually from dec1-15th its done but all weather permitting. curtis always lets us know a couple days a head of time if they plan to groom for the upcomming weekend. once they walk it and see how it looks.

and good call on the old trail. it is NASTY. seen some new iron come down some of those hills in an unpreffered orientation

Even an experienced rider that's never done it before can have a rough go at it. Aka my buddy last year flipped his new xm with only the miles from trailer to first switchback before it flipped and slid down the rocks on its side haha
