it shows the Viking doing 50mph and the new 2014 grizzly has the upgraded motor so it should do 65 to 70 mph

No leaks no spy shots circulating.....I'm guessing they will have "Bold new graphics for 2014".......guess we will find out in a week

Guess I wasn't to far off

The Grizzly 700 Special Edition is coated with Tactical Black paint and includes cast aluminum wheels and special graphics.

*sigh*.....was really hoping for a game changer and I think they stepped backwards with the viking

Bummer! I was sooo looking forward to the new Grizz. On the upside, if they get this many years out of the same model, perhaps the parts will get cheaper?

Yamaha is going the way Honda did many years ago...........clearly. Only Kawi is a player out of Japan. The rest won`t,can`t or simply choose not to compete with Canam & Popo..etc..
Since it takes Blue about 6 years to make a minor change,2020 should be a breakout year for them............

Guys! Hold up! It's not all that bad!

Read the feature page:

"The Viking width is sized to help minimize row crop damage."

Kawasaki Teryx is NOT comparable to the Maverick, RZR 900 XP, or even the S for that model.

all the Japanese SXS are pretty yawn worthy

With a few mods the Kawi can run pretty strong (ask Chrisco)...........Not so with any of the others,or possible. While the teryx is not designed to compete with the Mav & xp ,it is still a good unit with a lot of room to grow, power wise........was my point.

this is true, but why buy a 15 thousand dollar unit, and spend 10 grand in aftermarket accessories (you would need long travel suspension, turbo / supercharger set up, new roll cage etc) to make it competitive, when you could just go out and buy the proper machine for a couple extra bucks.

just doesnt make sense to me is all im saying, but i do see your point.

it reminds me of buying a honda civic, and then souping it up to beat a corvette that costs the same amount of money, and still gettin beat by the corvette When you could have just bought the corvette to begin with instead of dumping money into the civic.

Very true. Yamaha is gonna lose more customers if they don't compete I think

I will try for the positive spin on this since the negative is so easy to see. 1. The three seat set up is nice. 2. Read on utv underground they(Yamaha) claimed 5 new utvs in 5 years. So buy what you want now. When its wore out you may have a Yamaha to choose from for next one

Kawi teryx 12,500
XMF +5 long travel 3500.00
MCX turbo 4000.00
Cage 1900

total 21,900.00

Way stronger and faster than the MAV or XP can even hope to be, just look down south and talk to all the builders. there still building teryxs because they are still the strongest. THE XP needs so much steel added to the frame to make it race ready its vary costly. But I do like the xp.
