SLP discontinued the pipes for the older 700 triples but Landon at The Sled Parlor found a set for me and just installed them while re-jetting my carbs and hopping up the clutch on my SX Viper. Hoping for some fresh snow today so I can get out and test the sled before heading to Cataract to get...

We finally got some snow here the last couple days and had the Viper out for a few rides around the acreage and a little ditch banging. This thing rips and I really love the suspension and handling of this sled. Light, nimble and a lot easier to throw around than my Nytro was. I need to soften...
Yesterday my 10 year old son put together a short video of me playing around on one of the SX Vipers I picked up a few weeks ago. Only had a skiff of fresh snow to cover the grass but I needed to get this out for a quick rip around the yard. We really need a good dump so we can get out on the...
Bought an 02 Viper ER a couple months ago and it starts/runs good. Last week I picked up an 05 Viper and I can't see a choke on it?
Also noticed most parts are listed as being common for 02-04 models. Are the 05's different than the 02-04 models engine wise?
Thanks
Looking to insure a few sleds for liability only and I'm wondering who the best underwriters are? Are any of them kid friendly where they don't black ball you for allowing your kids to ride?
Thanks
Looking to take my kids out this winter and do a bit of ditch riding in and around the Okotoks area. Has anyone ever rode the ditches around here and more importantly, does the sheep river freeze up enough so that can you ride sections of the river at all? I've seen tracks around the river at...
After 3-4 years away from sledding, I decided to get back into things and just bought a few used sleds to get my wife and my 2 boys into sledding this year. We're on an acreage just North of Okotoks and have easy access to the back roads and ditches around the area including our own field to get...
Anyone know much about this show? I'm assuming they local club has split off from the snowmobile show and is now doing their own little gig...or is this just a swap meet of sorts?
I'm getting back into sledding with the family and need some gear and such. What's to be expected at Spruce Meadows...
Took a break from sledding the past few years but I'm thinking it's time to get back into it now but with the family this time. Kids are 7 & 10 now and I just moved to an acreage south of Calgary. Going to start looking for a clean pair of sleds that I can ditch bang around here on, and...
As many of you know, I completed my car this spring and toured the World of Wheels with it for 6 weeks. While winning many awards with it, the car was also nominated for Canada's Best through Meguiar's (The Car Wax People) and is now competing in an online vote with a chance for it to go to Sema...
For all you car guys that love blown hot rods, here's a link to my website where you can see the most recent video from the World of Wheels last weekend, as well as all the pictures on the gallery page. It's been nominated as a top Canadian car by Meguiar's with a chance to go to SEMA this fall...
As many of you know, I've been taking some time off from sledding to finish my pro street 55 Chev build. Well a friend of mine also has a pro street car in a 66 GTO and he's neck in neck with an online vote for best car. I thought I'd put a holler out to my sledding friends to see if we could...
I know there's a few here with an interest in hot rods, and here's an update on the frame off restoration I've been doing on my 55 Chev. Body and paint are now done and it's back on the frame after restoring everything and modifying the chassis with a 4-link rear and an 8 point roll cage. Here's...
Sledding in Downtown Detroit and rippin up the Interstate. Just saw this and thought I'd share. Hope this isn't a repost.

I'm getting tired of the 50K-60K guys thinking they're above everyone else and it's high time I invested in a long term employees that I can train over the coming years. Looking for a young able bodied person who doesn't mind working hard, can show up sober everyday, and can travel out of town...
I've had a few calls and emails asking where I've been this season, and to answer that...you can click on this link to see the progress I've been making on my 55 Chev hotrod build I am in the midst of. This is a complete frame off restoration that I am hoping to complete by summer and trust this...
Always wanted a blower, and today I said it's time as I stepped up and bought a Weiand 871 blower for my 55 chevy. I'll be building a 421 small block over the winter and the blower will be mounted up and tuned before spring rolls around.
Guess I better be stocking up on some rubber as the fun...
Had to lay out a small one with my 55 after completing some work on the fuel system and cooling system over the last couple days. This is the way to test your improvements on a car. lol
