First Place Parts is now selling the SnowPulse Highmark Pro Avalanche Airbag. Has anyone seen this in person and how does it compare to the Highmark 22.

Need to buy a Airbag just not sure what one to get.

The Highmark Pro is the updated version of the Highmark 22. Key differences are:
1. The handle has been switched to the right-hand side, allowing you to keep your hand on the gas while you deploy the airbag.
2. Improved belt system stays tighter.
3. Addition of third pocket for avalanche safety gear.
4. Addition of super roomy, fleece-lined goggle pocket.
5. Now available in a one-size fits all design, including adjustable height hip-belt and adjustable frame.

That crotch strap saved me from nose diving over my hood head first into the snow. However, it did leave me hanging from my handlebars by the strap, like some cartoon character.

X 10 on the vest.

I have a BCA Float 22 Throttle right now. I wear a Tekvest underneath my jacket and it's causing more problems than it's worth. When you start sweating bad, all the moisture is trapped under the plastic on the Tekvest and can't get out. Every day I'm done riding, you can see the sweat bubbled under there through the plastic. My plan is to ditch the Tekvest and go with the Highmark vest with the front armor. Nothing wrong with the BCA pack. I really like the design and the storage and how it fits, it's just the vest style is going to work better for me.
