Id love to see your Sx700 hang with my Modded 670 summit X

But you know, just saying

an sx 700 wouldn't keep up to a stock 670 x let alone a slightly massaged one. just sayin....... it would hang out though it would just be really far out.:d

a good running stock 583 would be a good match for an SX 700. does the SX have triple pipes? it would need them to beat a 583

if i hear another peep about a 583 a 670 or a sx700 this summer im deleting my account.

this site will be a much better place
for which, you deleting your account, or not hearing about the aforementioned snowmobiles?

I think if you put a 501 rotary valve and shorty intake kit on the 583 it would smoke the sx 700....even with triples

Why?

I'm a little puzzled by this comment Maxwell. I kinda took you for a guy that likes to ride, if someone wants to run a 583 or sx700, why is it such a big deal? Did I miss something?

Oh yeah for sure, even without the 501, put a good FAST single pipe on it and no 700 is touching it - there is a reason that in 1993, the ISA classed the 583 with the 700cc sleds and it still dominated that class.

I had fast twins (and lots of other stuff) on my '96 583, it would hang with my buddy's '98 T Cat for about 200 feet. then he was gonzo....but there were no 700 class sleds that could hang, not even the 670s.

I got rid of the '96 for a '99 HO. loved that sled....especially after they came out with the new series 3 700 in 2000 and it wouldn't come close to the 670. my buddy was mad....

LOL - it kinda looks stock....... :D

Series 3 - now there was a BRP screw up......them sleds could not do anything right except go straight, I still prefer the 809 in the F-chassis hood style though, that was a bad looking sled if you un-decaled it and blacked it all out, and they could haul some serious azz once they got dialed. We were out in Ontario on vacation in '95 and doing 100 kph on the highway and a Mach Z passed us in the ditch like we were walking. Right then and there I got an appreciation for them. We went and watched some ice drags and there was a scary fast triple 809 that won the class, some riduculous 660 ft speed.
