Went out for the first ride with the RT, playing in very deep powder and at the end of the day the sled just quit and would not power up to start. Under the hood was packed with snow therefore everything was wet. Figured it was an electrical problem. Ended up swapping the load and run relays and then fired up no problem. Did some research and found the relays to be a common problem in the sdi engines (mach z, summit 1000 and 600sdi). From now on I will always carry a spare relay for this occurance. The first hint of a problem with the relay for me was on start up, the fuel pump did not power up, eventually after a few tries, the pump started and hence the sled then turned over and started.
The next day I replaced the faulty relay and not a problem since.

Here is a long post on everything that one guy knows about relays in sleds. Interesting read.

Hope this info helps and prevents one flying over the bars when the relay quits.
