those must be usa prices bare bones 27k nicely equipped 31000 still has a price point over the comp I would assume.

Those prices will drop 3 to 4 after the newness wears off ,is my point ...
My turbo was almost 5000 $ under msrp.
right now you can buy a turbo Mav for just over 20000$ , they once retailed at 27 k....
patience, is your friend .....

no doubt...haste makes waste....that being said there are mid level performance machines that people get introduced to the sport and/or enjoy for years without having to move up to the flagship models

That thing looks rad! Bargain no doubt. Need more boost though. 350hp-400hp would be about right for its size.

They left lots of power on the table I bet ... Need to bump it up a little each year ....lol
Should run 200 quite easy with just a reflash I hear ....
0 to 60 in under 5i is pretty good for a stock machine !
Still amazed at the suspension #s & a model built for our terrain up here .....!

4 way adjustable seats are a nice touch too....

While that may be true ,this would kick the Chevys azz in the desert ...., hahaha
A better comparison would be against a Vette....
There are a lot of things in this car that cost big $$$$
While it not for everyone ( like a vette )... I understand the price . I know a lot of custom machines with 40 k + in them that would not even run close to this thing , I would say ....

Also remember a pickup truck is 80k nowadays as well ....lol

Toys are a terrible thing to put money in as they lose their value so fast , but you have to balance that with what brings a smile to your face , I guess..

I guess I will wait till 2018 models.

Val does not like the colors of 2017.

Why is the cage on the x rs in the video different than the one in the pic or on the web site?

Even though these X3s aren't really made for us in Western Canada.. (We have bush and swamps to navigate though)... These things look rad as hell. BRP is awesome. The stuff they've released lately seems to be the kind of thing that powersports nerds (snow&mudders) pushed through at a board meeting while the CEO and bean counter nerds were on holidays.
